My favourite piece of technology...

At present, the technology is around us, everywhere. Today, apart from the televition and the the radio, it´s common having mp3 and mp4, notbook or netbook, pendrive, cellular of last technology, digital camera, video games, plasma TV, etc.
However, despite I know some electronic apparatus, I don´t understand very good how utilize them.
But when I entered to the university, during the second half of the year, I began to (llevar) the notebook of my brother to the class, forgetting the pencil and paper. And, it was rather good: I wrote very quickly!
Since those days, I continued using it until nowadays.
Then, my father decided to buy a new netbook for me, because my little brother was missing his notebook for to chat with his girlfriend and friends, jaja. And I needed to work with it, everyday!
So, this is my history about my favourite piece of technology.
What life would be like without it? Very difficult, because I really need to use the netbook, everyday, for to write my classes, notes, to save information into my pendrive, to check my e-mails, to send documents, etc.
I think that it´s an important instrument of help for the student nowadays, above all for use in the work or in the university.

My favourite band...?

I really use to listen several kinds of music, because I don´t have a preference on the subjec.
However, I would like to talk about a chilean singer-songwriter that marked the year I entered at the University of Chile. His songs were a feeding every day. A lot of classmates of my faculty sang songs of him, and I began to assit to some events where he would be there.
His name is Manuel García, a northern born in Arica in 1970. He studied pedagogy in History and Geography at University of Tarapacá, and then, in 1994, he went to live to Santiago for studying Superior Guitar Interpretation in the Pontificia Universidad Católica.
Although he´s not my favourite musical artist, I like him because he has beautiful songs (the content of the letters and the musical production), and also because he demostrated a lot of support to Movement Student realized the past year (2011).
He also has shown support to the people of Aysen this year, because the problems that affected them.
My favourite songs of him are: Azúcar al café, Témpera, Vida mía, Piedra Negra, Tinta de tus lágrimas, Danza de las libélulas y El reproche. These songs have subject matter about love and politic.
He participated in the Festival del Huaso de Olmué and in the Festival de Viña del Mar.
Also, he has sung with others chilean musical artists, such as Los Bunkers, Chinoy and Camila Moreno.

Here a single, Témpera
